The Opportunity 
Everyday Health is looking for a Credit and Collections Analyst to join its Finance and Accounting team.  The individual will assist in ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services offered to clients. This person will also be responsible for customer review/creation of new customers within the Company’s accounting system.  The individual will report directly to the Global Collections Manager. 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. 
  • Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions. 
  • Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment. 
  • Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Global Collections Manager and other staff.   
  • Collaborate with the Global Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis. 
  • Credit check for all new customers based on Company processes and creation of these new customers in the financial accounting system. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.  
  
Job Qualifications 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting referred.  
  • At least two years of related experience required. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.   
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion a plus

Note: The salary compensation for this role is $60,000 to $65,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
